2. Could I see myself/my loved one being happy here?

The facility that your loved one will be the happiest at will not necessarily be the most expensive or lavish. But it will include the little things that they consider to be the most important. Make sure to take a tour, or multiple tours, to get a realistic idea of what the location has to offer. Notice the demeanor of the other residents, and the relationships shared between them and the staff. You should have a feeling about which living facility would be the right one for you.
